Privacy policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026. This English text is a translation; the French version prevails.
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights. It applies to the site perdure.com, our emails and our customer service.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
PERDURE, SAS with share capital of €1,000, Thionville RCS 102 696 382, 46 allée de la Libération, 57100 Thionville, France. For any question about your data: support@perdure.com.
2. What data?
- Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address, phone, delivery and billing addresses.
- Orders and subscription: products, your dog’s size, frequency, delivery dates, amounts, history, exchanges with customer service.
- Payment: your payments are processed by our payment providers. We neither see nor store your full card number.
- Your answers: what you tell us about your dog, for example in a quiz or when you sign up.
- Browsing: IP address, device, pages viewed, data from cookies (see section 8).
- Reviews: the content, rating and date of any review you post.
3. Why, and on what legal basis?
| What we do | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Process your orders, subscription, payments, deliveries, returns and customer service requests; send you emails about your order or subscription (confirmation, reminder before payment, shipping) | Performance of the contract |
| Keep our accounts and invoices | Legal obligation |
| Prevent fraud and secure the site | Legitimate interest |
| Send you our newsletter, advice and offers by email, if you agreed to it (tick box when ordering or signing up) | Consent |
| Measure site audience, test page versions, personalise our ads | Consent (cookies) |
| Publish your review | Consent |
| Improve our products and site using aggregated statistics on orders and customer service requests (no cookies) | Legitimate interest |
The information marked as required when you order (name, delivery address, email, payment method) is needed to conclude and perform your order: without it, we cannot process it. Other information is optional. We do not make any decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you: Shopify flags orders that show a fraud risk, but our team decides whether to cancel an order. Personalised advertising, which requires your consent, may involve profiling; you can refuse it or withdraw your consent at any time.
4. Who do we share your data with?
Only with the people at Perdure who need it, and with our service providers. Some act only on our instructions (Shopify, Loop, Klaviyo, our fulfilment provider); others also process your data for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies (Alma, payment providers, carriers):
- Shopify: online store, hosting, payment;
- Loop: subscription management;
- Klaviyo: email sending;
- Alma: payment in instalments, if you choose it;
- our fulfilment provider and carriers: preparing and delivering parcels;
We currently use no advertising or audience measurement tool other than Shopify’s statistics. Before adding one, we will update this list.
We never sell your data. We may disclose it to the authorities when the law requires it.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers, or their subcontractors, are located outside the European Union, notably in Canada and the United States. These transfers are covered by a European Commission adequacy decision (Canada; companies certified under the Data Privacy Framework for the United States) or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. You can ask us for a copy.
6. How long?
- Customer data: for the duration of our business relationship, then 3 years after your last purchase or last contact to send you our offers if you agreed to receive them.
- Newsletter subscribers who have not ordered: 3 years after their last contact with us (for example, the last click in an email).
- Quiz answers and exchanges with customer service: for the duration of our business relationship, then 3 years after your last contact.
- Reviews: as long as they are shown on the site, and at most 5 years after publication.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years.
- Customer account: until it is deleted, or after 2 years without any activity on your part (we will warn you first).
- List of people who have objected to marketing: 3 years, to respect their choice.
- Cookies: see section 8.
7. Your rights
At any time, you can access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, object to its use (in particular for marketing, without giving a reason), ask for its portability, withdraw your consent and give instructions on what happens to your data after your death. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. To exercise your rights, email us at support@perdure.com: we reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or to the data protection authority of your country of residence.
8. Cookies
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit the site. Some are essential for the site to work (cart, login, security, remembering your choices) and do not require your consent. The others (audience measurement, page testing, advertising) are only placed with your consent, which you give or refuse in the banner shown on your first visit. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time via the “Your privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page. The store’s cookies last one year at most.
9. Security and minors
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, and our providers are held to the same standard. The site is not intended for children under 15.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. If we make a significant change, we will let you know.
