Terms of sale

Effective as of 7 October 2026. This English text is a translation; the French version prevails.

1. Who we are

These general terms of sale (the “Terms”) apply to all orders placed on the website perdure.com (the “site”) with:

PERDURE, a French simplified joint-stock company with a sole shareholder (SAS), share capital of €1,000
Registered office: 46 allée de la Libération, 57100 Thionville, France
Registered with the Thionville Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 102 696 382 · EU VAT number FR86102696382
Email: support@perdure.com

They are intended for consumers, meaning people buying for their personal needs. You accept them when you confirm your order; they remain available at any time at the bottom of every page of the site. We may change them for the future: the version that applies to an order is the one in force on the day of that order. For a subscription, we will email you about any change at least 30 days before it applies to your upcoming deliveries; if you do not accept it, you can cancel free of charge before that date.

2. The product

The Essential is a complementary powdered feed for adult dogs weighing at least 2 kg, sold in 162 g pouches, with a free measuring scoop included in your first order. It is not suitable for puppies. Its essential characteristics (composition, daily amount by weight, storage) are shown on the product page and on the pouch. The Essential complements a balanced diet: it does not replace your dog’s usual meals or your vet’s advice or care. It is not a medicine.

3. Prices

Our prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (applicable VAT included). Shipping costs are added to the product price; the amount is shown before payment and on our Shipping and returns page. The price charged is the price displayed when you place your order. For a subscription, each delivery is charged at the subscription price in force on the day you subscribed; if we ever need to change it, we will email you at least 30 days before the payment concerned, and you can cancel free of charge before it applies.

4. Ordering

To order, you choose your dog’s size and your option (one-time purchase or subscription), check your cart, enter your details and delivery method, then accept these Terms and pay. You can correct your information at each step before confirming. The contract is formed once your payment is confirmed. We then email you the confirmation of your order, together with these Terms (including the withdrawal form and the commercial guarantee contract), which you can keep.

We may refuse an order that is abnormal or placed in bad faith, or an order from a customer with whom a payment dispute is ongoing. For any order or subscription of €120 or more, we keep the contract until delivery and then for ten years, and you can get a copy on request at support@perdure.com.

The contract is concluded in French, or in English if you use the English version of the site; in case of discrepancy between the two versions, the French version prevails.

5. Payment

Payment is made online, by bank card or by the other payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed by our secure payment providers; we never have access to your full card number. Payment in instalments, when offered, is provided by Alma under its own terms, which you accept when you use it.

For a subscription, your card is charged on the day each delivery ships. We send you a reminder email a few days before each payment. If a payment fails, the delivery concerned is not shipped until the payment goes through.

6. Subscription

The subscription has no minimum term and no commitment. It continues at the frequency you chose until you cancel it. From your account, under “Subscriptions”, you can at any time change the frequency, date, delivery address or card, skip a delivery, pause the subscription or cancel it, free of charge. Cancellation is done online in a few clicks, from your subscription space, without having to email or call us or to create an account: you reach it through the “Manage my subscription” link at the bottom of every page, with a login link sent by email, or from your customer account. We confirm by email that it has been taken into account, when it takes effect and what it means: no further deliveries or payments after that date. Any delivery already shipped remains payable. Details are in our subscription terms.

7. Delivery

We deliver to mainland France, Belgium and Luxembourg, to your home or to a pick-up point. We undertake to deliver your order no later than 5 working days after it is confirmed (for a subscription: after the scheduled shipping date). You receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. Rates are on our Shipping and returns page.

If your order is not delivered on the date or within the time agreed, you can ask us in writing (email included) to deliver it within a reasonable additional period. If it is still not delivered by the end of that period, you can cancel the order (termination of the contract) in writing, email included: it is cancelled as soon as we receive your message, unless delivery has taken place in the meantime. You can also cancel it immediately if we refuse to deliver, if it is clear that we will not deliver, or if the delivery date was essential for you and you told us so before ordering. We then refund all sums paid within 14 days of receiving your message at the latest.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or the person you designated, take physical possession of the parcel.

8. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. This period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you designate (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the product. For a subscription, it ends 14 days after the day you take possession of the first delivery. If it ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

To withdraw, send us the form below, or any other clear statement, by email to support@perdure.com or by post to our address. We will confirm receipt by email.

Send any unopened pouches back to us within 14 days of your withdrawal: we pay the return costs and will tell you how to proceed. Opened pouches do not need to be sent back. We refund all sums paid, including the original delivery costs (up to the cost of standard delivery), within 14 days of the day we are informed of your withdrawal at the latest, using the payment method used for the order and at no cost to you. If you have unopened pouches to send back, we may withhold the refund until we receive them or until you send us proof that you have shipped them, whichever is earlier.

The right of withdrawal is separate from cancelling your subscription (section 6), which you can do at any time, and from our money-back guarantee (section 9).

9. Commercial guarantee contract: 30-day money-back guarantee

In addition to your legal rights, PERDURE gives you, free of charge, a 30-day money-back commercial guarantee. If The Essential does not suit your dog, for any reason, email us at support@perdure.com within 30 days of receiving your order, with your order number. You do not need to give a reason. Unopened pouches are returned at our expense; opened pouches do not need to be returned. We process the refund of the price of the products in the order concerned, excluding delivery costs, to the payment method used, within 3 working days of approving your request.

Guarantor: PERDURE, whose postal address and email are given in section 1. Territorial scope: all deliveries made in the countries we deliver to.

This guarantee applies without prejudice to your right to the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-1 to L217-32 of the French Consumer Code) and to the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code), described in section 10. It comes on top of them: it lets you get a refund even when the product conforms, simply because it does not suit your dog, whereas the legal guarantee of conformity, which applies for two years from delivery, covers lack of conformity.

10. Legal guarantees

Regardless of the commercial guarantee, you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).

Translation of the box required by Article D211-2 of the French Consumer Code; the French text prevails.

The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it appeared.

Where the contract of sale provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or digital service throughout the planned supply period. During this period, the consumer only has to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service, not the date on which it appeared.

The legal guarantee of conformity requires the trader, where applicable, to provide all updates needed to keep the goods in conformity.

The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.

If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the initial guarantee.

If the consumer asks for the goods to be repaired but the seller imposes a replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date the goods are replaced.

The consumer may obtain a reduction of the purchase price while keeping the goods, or end the contract and obtain a full refund against return of the goods, if:

1° The trader refuses to repair or replace the goods;

2° The repair or replacement takes place after thirty days;

3° The repair or replacement causes major inconvenience to the consumer, in particular where the consumer ultimately bears the costs of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the costs of installing the repaired or replacement goods;

4° The lack of conformity persists despite the seller’s unsuccessful attempt to bring the goods into conformity.

The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that an immediate price reduction or termination is justified. The consumer is then not required to ask for repair or replacement first.

The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.

Any period during which the goods are out of use for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are returned in conforming condition.

The rights mentioned above result from Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code.

A seller who in bad faith obstructs the implementation of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be increased to 10% of average annual turnover (Article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).

The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund against return of the goods.

11. Liability

Follow the daily amount shown for your dog’s weight and the storage advice on the pouch. If your dog is pregnant or nursing, is on medication, has a known allergy (The Essential contains chicken, green-lipped mussel and yeast, among other ingredients) or has a health problem, ask your vet before starting. We cannot be held liable for damage resulting from use that does not follow these instructions. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the law gives you.

12. Customer reviews

The reviews shown on the site were collected by Perdure from customers who bought The Essential before its launch, with no benefit in return. They are a selection made by us: they are not sorted by date and do not represent all the reviews we received. Each review shows its date and the period during which the product was used. We do not edit their content. You can report a review to support@perdure.com. Reviews published later on a review platform will follow that platform’s rules, which we will state next to the reviews.

13. Personal data

We process your data to manage your orders, your subscription and our relationship. To learn more and exercise your rights, see our privacy policy.

14. Customer service, complaints and mediation

For any question or complaint, email us at support@perdure.com: we reply within one working day, Monday to Friday. If your written complaint has not been resolved, you can use, free of charge, the consumer mediator we are registered with: CM2C (Centre de la médiation de la consommation de conciliateurs de justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, www.cm2c.net, which accepts claims online at www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php. You must first have sent us a written complaint, and then contact the mediator within one year of that complaint.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. In the event of a dispute, you may bring proceedings, at your choice, before the court of the place where you lived when you ordered or when the harmful event occurred, or before any other court with jurisdiction under the law.
